Prof. Mahmoud Jabarvand is one of Iran’s leading ophthalmologists specializing in cornea, anterior segment, and refractive surgery. With more than 40 years of clinical, academic, and surgical experience, he has played a significant role in advancing ophthalmic care, medical education, and corneal surgery in Iran. He has served as President of the Iranian Society of Ophthalmology, Director of Farabi Eye Hospital, and Faculty Member at Tehran University of Medical Sciences. His expertise includes corneal transplantation, laser vision correction, refractive surgery, and the management of complex corneal diseases. Prof. Jabarvand has delivered hundreds of scientific lectures, supervised numerous medical research projects, and continues to provide advanced eye care for both Iranian and international patients using modern evidence-based treatment approaches.
